Peridot considered as the stone of springtime as well a gift by Mother Nature according to ancients’ thoughts.

Peridot is the birthstone of August and is considered to be the symbol of purity, wellness and spirituality awareness.

Peridot first came into existent near two centuries ago in the island of Hawaii.

According to their ancient beliefs the green gemstones were notice in the black sands of volcanoes. They consider the green stones as the tears of the Volcano Goddess, Pele.
But the Egyptian legends considers Peridot as the “gem of the sun” believing its connection to the Goddess Isis.

The last queen of Pharaohs, Cleopatra was said to have a huge collection of Peridot. In fact the gemstones which were considered to be Cleopatra’s Emerald were later found to be Peridot.
